Your assignment is to use Paint.NET to retouch the two photos. This is a common task and will allow you to use some of the techniques we discussed in class. Both photos are very old, at least relative to you guys :) The photos are about 40 years old. The color photo has been greatly faded by exposure to light, and the black and white was bent at some point. Your tasks are:

(1) Black and White
Remove the image's tear.

(2) Color photo
Several tasks, a) remove the purple streak in the woman's hair, b) repair the lower left and bottom edges of the photo, c) remove the white patch in the boy's very stylish suite jacket, and d) minor edits on the top portion of the image.

REMEMBER. Always keep an original copy of the image untouched.

BONUS: Save the color photo under a different name, and use the brightest/contrast/hue adjustment to improve the image's quality. Also try the sharpen filter, or others that you think might help RESTORE the image to its original look. Don't just use any filter, because you think it looks better. You're trying to use modifications that return it to the original.
